Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SoilSmart Haven website (soilsmarthaven.com.ng) or making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

2. About SoilSmart Haven

SoilSmart Haven is a boutique lodging and co-working facility located at CA1 Lavender Close, DME Estate 2, Apo-Abuja, FCT, Nigeria. We provide short-stay room accommodations, co-working workspaces, and dining services for individuals and corporate guests.

3. Bookings and Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of full payment via our secure payment processor (Paystack).
  • Unpaid bookings will be automatically released after 2 hours from the time of reservation, after which the dates will be made available to other guests.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
  • By completing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

4. Payment

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). Payments are processed securely via Paystack. We accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard) and bank transfers where available. SoilSmart Haven does not store payment card details. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • More than 72 hours before check-in: Full refund, less any payment processing fees charged by Paystack.
  • 24–72 hours before check-in: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before check-in or no-show: No refund.
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to soilsmartng@gmail.com with your booking reference number.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM on your arrival date. Early check-in is subject to availability and may attract an additional charge.
  • Check-out: By 12:00 PM (noon) on your departure date. Late check-out requests must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
  • Valid government-issued photo identification (National ID, International Passport, or Drivers Licence) is required at check-in.

7. Guest Obligations

Guests are expected to:

  • Treat all facilities, furnishings, and equipment with care. Damage caused by negligence or misconduct may be charged to the guest.
  • Comply with all house rules communicated at check-in and displayed on the premises.
  • Not engage in any illegal activities on the premises.
  • Respect the quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and the comfort of other guests.
  • Not bring or consume illegal substances on the premises.
  • Report any faults, damage, or safety concerns to management immediately.

8. Workspace Terms

Co-working workspace bookings are for the sole use of the registered guest during the booked period. Workspace access is subject to availability and may be limited during peak periods. Guests using workspaces must not engage in activities that disturb others or violate applicable laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

SoilSmart Haven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Nigerian law. We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings on the premises. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of SoilSmart Haven or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Abuja, FCT, in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023 of Nigeria.
